I'm researching a radio feature on holiday with the girls for BBC Radio 4.
I'm interested to find women who go away with their friends, sisters, mums etc... leaving their partners and children at home. In particular I would like to speak to women who are planning to go away in the next month or so - perhaps on an activity break, long haul holiday or to raise money for charity. Also I would like to hear from women who've enjoyed the experience and would go away without partners again and perhaps to those women and partners where it had a negative impact on their home life.
If you know of anyone I could potentially speak to, I would really appreciate it if you or they could email me with their details.
I am currently working on a documentary for Channel 4 about single women
who have chosen to have children without a partner, either through
artificial insemination or through arrangement with a second party. We
are especially keen to track down families where the children have
reached adulthood themselves, but are very open to all possibilities.
I am at the very beginning of my search and so would appreciate any
advice you can offer me - from support groups for such women past and
present to search engines that are appropriate to use.

I was wondering if you can help me. I'm trying to find some statistics on what women want,
for example, 60% of women say they want to laugh more, 70% of women say they think about love
most of the day, that sort of thing.
I was really hoping you might be able to help me as I'm struggling to find them, or if you might
know of where i can find them.
Amazing Dates
Have you ever had an amazing date … and I mean AMAZING, by anyone’s standards?
An average date costs a man £186.10 - nearly half of which he spends on himself (haircut,
clothes etc), according to a new Virgin Money survey, but I’m looking for dates which will
leave this one in the shade.
I want to speak to a woman who went on a date which cost thousands of pounds and totally blew
her mind, who is happy to tell me all about it.
I also want to speak to a woman who was bowled-over backwards by the sheer imagination put into
her date. Maybe it was a picnic, which you had to parachute into, or drinks, but in the sky, in
a hot air balloon, looking down on a breathtaking landscape, or he picked you up on a bicycle
made for two.
And last, but not least, I want to speak to a woman who had the most considerate date in the
world. Someone who thought about her every need and had listened to her so intently that he
catered for everything she liked, all her foibles and all her desires. This date proved he was
not just any Mr Nice Guy, but that he had what it takes to sweep her off her feet.
If you are aged between 25 and 45, from the UK and have been on a date which would fit any of
these three categories and would like to tell me all about it, for Real, a glossy, upmarket
women’s magazine, I want to hear from you now.
You will need to be identified and photographed for the piece, but, hopefully your story brings
back memories you are happy to share.

SISTERS!
Are you a twin sister or do you and your sister look similar. Has one of you ever worried that your boyfriend or husband will fall in love with your sister because you are alike and look alike? If this is you, I'd love to hear from both of you, even if the fears were unfounded. This is for an article in a leading women's magazine and everyone who takes part will be paid for their story - you must be pictured together, though.
Email me, Sharon Ward, on sharon@headlinefeatures.freeserve.co.uk for more details or call me on 01905 759795.

HOW DID YOU FIND OUT THAT YOUR PARTNER WAS CHEATING ON YOU?
I wondered if you might be able to help me in my search for an urgent case study for Chat magazine.
I am looking for a woman, to be featured as one of three women, sharing how they found out a man was cheating on them.
She will need to give me a phone interview, talking honestly and openly about what happened. I will also need a photo of her with the man, from her personal collection and she may need to pose for a new pic. I will have to contact the man, if he's still in the country, to give him the chance to comment, for legal reasons.
She will be paid £50 for her time and if she has a business venture she wants mentioning, that's no problem.
The feature will be read back to her before publication, so she will have a chance to make corrections/changes.
My details are 020 7924 6446 or 07973 938 478 if anyone can help.

COPYCAT SISTERS
Do you and your sister live parallel lives, which mirror each other’s?
When something happens to one of you, does the other follow suit - by accident, coincidence, or even deliberate design?
I am looking for two sisters who, like famous copycat siblings Kylie and Danni Minogue, mirror each other’s lives, for a feature for Best magazine.
Just look at Kylie and Danni Minogue and the parallels are amazing.
Kylie made her name in Neighbours, followed by Danni landing a role in Home and Away. Kylie relocated to Britain to forge a pop career. Soon Danni was booking her ticket to Blighty. When Kylie was transformed from girl next door to international sex symbol, Danni’s stylist started working overtime. Now Kylie has declared her love for French boyfriend Oliver Martinez and Danni has been showing-off her new beau, businessman Jeremy Garamond, who is also French and has similar striking good looks to her sister’s man.
I want to find two good looking, articulate sisters, aged between 25 and 45, who copy each other all the time and are full of stories, anecdotes and hopefully have photos, too, to show the ways in which they’ve mirrored each other.
Maybe one changed her hairstyle and the other followed suit, one started dating a man in a certain profession and so did the other, one was married one month and the other the next, perhaps you had children at the same time, are in business together, or share a love for dare devil sports.
I am looking for sisters who look alike, think alike and act alike - who are so close, their lives always run in tandem.
If you think this could be you and you’d like to be in the article, it would help if you could submit a photo of you together.
You will need to be interviewed, by phone and then photographed by a professional from the magazine - although we would also love to borrow some of your own pictures.
If you’re interested and want to find out more, please call or email me, Fran Bowden on 020 7924 6446 or 07973 938 478.Click on E-mail Fran.Bowden@ntlworld.com
